D-Day: First off, thank you for speaking with D-Day's Revenge!
Unknown: Thankyou for having us!
D-Day: How long has the band been together? Is this the original lineup?
Unknown: We have been together for 11 years. The line-up is pretty much the same.
D-Day: What was the inspiration for the band name?
Unknown: It came for an album titled super unknown. And also everywhere we go no one knows who we are but when we leave they will never forget.
Both of those combined is why we chose UNKNOWN.
D-Day: I understand that you have a big show coming up on the 16th. Tell us about that.
Unknown: We are very excited about this show! Our good friends Transgression will be playing their first show in 8 years. Also we will be video taping for a DVD/video. There will a bunch of awesome bands playing this night!
D-Day: What are the touring plans afterwards?
Unknown: We are in the process of setting up a couple of tours. One we are working on for April with Blood Tribe, and another during the summer.
D-Day: Are you currently working on a future album?
Unknown: We will be in the studio starting the weekend after the Jan 16th show. We will be recording a full length album to follow up the 3 song demo we have right now.
D-Day: If you could choose any 3 bands to join on a major world tour, who would they be and why?
Unknown: Down- extremely tight live band, all-star line up and they are BADASS!!
Lamb of God- They are cool and they are from our home state VA.
Slayer- They are a good live band, and they are one of the originals.
D-Day: What is the craziest or biggest Spinal Tap type moment to happen to the band while on stage? Any zany fan moments, wardrobe or equipment malfunctions, someone shit their pants... you get the idea.
Unknown: We really haven’t had one of those yet…not by accident anyways.

D-Day: Let's try a multiple choice question. The word "unknown" brings about the thoughts of "the fear of the unknown". So tell us which of the following scares you the most?
a) Godzilla
b) The thought of not being signed
c) The current economy
d) Being on the front row at a Barbara Streisand concert
Unknown: Well as much as we would hate to not get signed. I think we will go with D...Shes way scarier!
D-Day: What are your thoughts on music downloading? Do you see it as advertising or stealing?
Unknown: Depends. Does that band want to give their music away for free? If you really like a band enough to listen to their music then you should want to support them by buying their albums not “downloading” them for free.
D-Day: Do you have a preference for the type of label that you would sign with? Do you prefer an indie label or major?
Unknown: Any label would be good, but a major label is what everyone strives for to get the recognition a musician deserves!
