This album starts out with a bang with "Move Forward Until You Are Dead". This is by far my favorite song on this offering. I love the "feel" and the pace changes throughout the song.
It is very powerfu. Love it!
Things then slow down to a degree. Actually, the entire vibe changes after this. It goes more into a Pink Floydish and Nine Inch Nails type mode for a number of songs. I'm sure that if I had requested lyrics that I would find a theme of some sort and it would all make sense to me, but as an old-school headbanger, I tend to go for the overall "sound".
Having said that, there are not only more "heavy" songs to enjoy later for your metalhead pleasure (it started with a bang and ends with a bang!), but the entire offering is very well done and very creative. I should also mention that this is a DUO! It's amazing to think that only 2 people can create this much energy and noise.
Fans of the bands I mentioned earlier would definitely enjoy this. Or if you like getting high with a set of headphones on while reclined in the lazyboy and envisioning the music....
