Finally I get my 15 minutes of fame….even if it is amongst 6 people and a dog. I have still gotten farther than I would have on American Idol. Thanks D-DAY! Hey people, I heard that sigh when you read 15 minutes, read faster if you don’t like it.
My goal for the Sixgun’s section is to take a look at music, people, politics, and life from my twisted perspective and possibly find someone that agrees. I should tell you up front that, although lately, I have tried to use "LOL" after my rants because, people don’t always know when it is a joke. I will not be doing that here. It is not my intent to offend everyone but, if you are easily offended move on.
When it comes to music I am stuck in the late 70’s and 80’s metal. Bands such as: Priest, Maiden, W.A.S.P, Ozzy, Krokus, Megadeth, Cooper, etc. There are few exceptions such as The Darkness yes, I said it, The Darkness. I think the music is tight and shows talent. Not a big fan of the vocals but I can get passed them. I also am a fan of The Donnas even though the three, good looking ones, have porked out since they got a real record deal. Iced Earth is another band I enjoy very much and can’t wait to see how far they will go with the Ripper. I really dislike all nu-metal, Tool, and most death metal.
Now if I have not alienated you, yet, let’s talk politics. Being from New Hampshire, I recently had the opportunity to enjoy, once again, the first in the nations primary. BFD! It is nothing more than a media frenzy in a state that really has little to no outcome in the actual election. I can see why Al Sharpton skipped NH not just for the non importance but, the fact there are about 3 black people and there, not old enough to vote, 20 half black children who live with their white ex-girlfriends in NH. No, I’m not prejudice or jealous that is NH. Ok so, Dean shot himself in the foot
and I am not going to even mention how if you do not know then you do not own a TV, good for you. So Dean drops from first place to second below Kerry, the ultimate model for a bobble head doll. Now Edwards and Clark tied for third with 12% and Leiberman comes in fourth with 9%. Leiberman obviously not the stereotypical Jew, when it comes to math, declares how proud he is to be in a third place tie. I think it is safe to say we are looking at another 4 years with Bush. Bush at least surrounds himself with people that try to stop him from being the true idiot he is. I am not sure where they were when he came up with the brainstorm to allow illegal aliens to stay in the USA for 3 years or as long as they employed. Bush claims they are doing jobs Americans do not want to do. They are actually doing jobs for minimum wage that Americans cannot afford to do. How about going to Mars? Did he just look out his window one night, scratch his ass, and say I’m bored with Iraq let’s put a man on Mars. Listen I don’t think we need to go to Mars to find fuel, we have plenty of scientists right here on Earth have them do something besides study the mating habits of snails.

Maybe I’ll do a review of Krokus’ "Rock the Block" CD. Damn, I think I just lost the last person reading this.
