Hello all!

Surprisingly enough, D-Day's Revenge is embarking on the 8th year of existance. The website "officially" began in January 2004. My, how time flies.

During that time, the 'zine has had it's ups and downs as far as activity, recognition and excitement. It's been called "The coolest underground website" at one point yet it's also sat dormant for months at a time at other points. Obviously, many of those peaks and valleys coincide with the fact that I can get gung-ho at times and then have normal life intervene. There have been moments when I've thought of shutting it down, to be honest. But usually during those times, I'll get wind of some new band or hear from an "established" band and get fired up again and add new interviews and/or music reviews.

I've been very fortunate to still get plenty of opportunities to feature many bands in some way, but due to that "normal life intervention", I have not been able to keep things flowing as much as I should.

Before too many jaws drop in surprise, I am not going to end the long run for this site! If things stay too busy in my own life, I'll hopefully continue to get some more reviews and interviews from other contributers to help fill the void when needed. As always, this site is still a just a hobby for me with no sponsors, employees or backing of any kind. I make no money from doing this, it's just out of my love for the music. I've been fortunate enough to gain a little recognition for it while also keeping a day job.

Thank you to all who stop by to check it out, and hopefully it will still be going for many years to come! I'll do my best to get to that gung-ho stage more often! And thank you to the great folks who have contributed reviews and interviews along the way.

You can also help keep things active by visiting the boards and perhaps sharing any music or band news of your own or comment on other things.

Have a wonderful new year and keep checking back!

D-Day
