Second conversation with Ladymoon
D-Day's Revenge...
Speak Your Mind!
When I last spoke with Ladymoon, she was working on an album and had high hopes for the future. Well,  now that album is about to be released and I wanted to get back in touch and see how things are going.
Read on and find out what's happening with Ladymoon!

D-Day: Thank you for speaking with me once again!

LM: Thank you for speaking with me.

D-Day: Since the last interview, your full length album has been recorded and about ready to be released. What can you tell us about that now? When will it be officially available?

LM: I'm so glad that it's finished. I've been through alot with the making of this cd, I began to think it wasn't going to happen, but I did it, & it feels great so far! I'm currently looking for distribution, I have a few options in mind. Plus, I have a few websites that are currently interested in selling the cd. The 12 track cd, "Erotic Pleasures & Tears" will be released in January. I will keep everyone on all my sites informed of the release date. Trust me, that's when I'm going to celebrate!

D-Day: As mentioned in my review, you've added some varying styles to your newer additions to the album. What was the inspiration for that?

LM: I have a wide range of fans in the goth scene. I'd like to please all of them. The witches, the vampires, old school goths, S&M/fetish goths, & the bizarre, more freaky, with a touch of doom metal.

D-Day: In the first interview, you mentioned a goth BBQ. Do you still have plans for that with the release of this new album?

LM: The cd will be released in January, so it will have to be in a club, plus it will be a cozy crowd of 10 - 15 of my really close friends. In the spring or summer, I'd like to plan on the goth BBQ, & have a few bands to jam, that would be very cool.

D-Day: Do you have any side projects that you can mention at this time?

LM: I don't call anything I do "a side project." This cd is finished. The new material that I plan to work on begins a new chapter. It will be different.

D-Day: With all due respect, the goth world can offer up some funny images. Can you tell us the strangest or funniest thing or attire/look that you've witnessed at any event that you've attended?

LM: I think the 80's period, can come up with strange images, look at some of those hairdos! lol Well, one time I was in a goth club, I saw a guy with LOTS of piercings all over his face, I think that was the freakiest.

D-Day: What do you feel is your greatest accomplishment with the release of "Erotic Pleasures and Tears"? Is it a message, a personal goal, etc..

LM: The whole cd is an accomplishment for me. I thought it would never come out. I have a song on the cd called "Leap Year Moonchild~The calling" , Leap Year is in 08, so that song is very important to be released now.

D-Day: Have you ever considered doing an album that is strictly spoken word?

LM: No. I'd rather go to a coffee house.

D-Day: Are you already at work on another Ladymoon album? Can you tell us anything yet?

LM: I have new material, but it's on hold with the distribution of this cd, which I still have to focus on at the moment. The new material will be different. Be prepared for something darker.

D-Day: Which of the following would you consider to be the biggest "turn-on" in the goth world and why?

a) Vampires..par
b) Zombies..par
c) Submissive Minions..par
d) Anything with fishnet stockings..par
e) The Great Pumpkin..par
f) other

LM: The biggest turn on for me, is vampires, hands down! why? DUH, they are so hot, sexy, & sensual, & indescribable, really.

D-Day: Have you ever met someone whose had a tombstone impression on her ass because she had sex in a graveyard on a tombstone? For example, her ass may have an impression that says "Died ~ 1883"

LM: pass!

D-Day: Back to business... do you have any shows lined up for fans to see you?

LM: We plan on recruiting some band menbers, to hopefully gig.

D-Day: Who else is currently in the band Ladymoon?

LM: Mike Bogush, the 1st guitarist for Nuclear Assault

D-Day: Are you still interested or working on anything in the comic book field?

LM: I have ideas for that, but that's on hold at the moment.

D-Day: How involved are you now in poetry? Do you have plans for publishing any poems?

LM: I'll be submitting my manuscript a collection of my poetry, & including some of my lyrics.

D-Day: Thank you for sharing with us! Any final words or plugs for the fans?

LM:In addition to the cd, "Erotic Pleasures & Tears," the song "Karma's Curse" will be on a horror cmplilation, there were some delays with that coming out. I just finished recording for a voice-over for a part in a B movie, Pantheon Black. That should be completed sometime in 08. They are truly my friends, I've developed real friendships with many people, I respond to everyone, & I love & support them too. I'll keep everyone posted of all the lates updates through bulletins. Also, I just completed mixing a collection of all the different versions of "Karma's Curse" there are 12 different versions that didn't make it on the cd. That song has alt. lyrics, alt. vocals. a punk version, doom version, metal version, acoustic version. That was the first song that we've recorded, so it's my baby. I plan on releasing that cd shortly after the full length, which will be called, Karma's Curse "Recordings From The Cave."
Happy Holidays to you, D-Day, & everyone.
thank you. ;;;;
