This is probably one of the most chaotic records I've ever heard. Add one part Children Of Bodom, one part Bloodhond Gang, one part Weezer, one part Nine Inch Nails, one part Cockfarm and the rest simply fucked up, and you have Look What I Did. It's a perfect name for these guys, and I love it. It's like a little kid who takes all the shit out of the cupboard and pours it into a big bowl and says "look what I did!"
Basically, it's a neverending blend of everything thrown all together and somehow actually works. For a screwed-up person like myself, I find it very enjoyable.
For anyone out there who says "I need something different", here you go. Shit, you can't get much more "different" than this.
I really don't even know how to describe it. Some of the vocals sound like Janes Addiction, while others are heavy screams. Some of the music has crunching goodness, while others have a slapping bass-type funk sound. Some fast, some medium.
I'm still confused...
